    Oh

    Put seafoam in PCV line
    Fed it in
    All is fine
    car runs rough as normal
    Still feed it in
    turns off car
PSPPSPSPSH (cloud of smoke coming from intake manifold area (beauty cover) around 6 seconds after car is off)
    Cleans up area
Sees puddle of WATER underneath, might be from AC, might be from some water somewhere within the enigne bay hitting something maybe?
I drove the car around for a bit, no smoke, nothin, its fine.

Car runs fine. I went to go flog the piss out of it after the seafoam and it detonated away but i saw MASS amounts of smoke come out the more it detonated. IT was seafoam for sure. Still detonating away, i finally throw it in first, lock the TC, BOOT IT, huge smoke cloud, all is well, engine is running smoothly.

What the **** did that smoke cloud from under the hood come from i wonder.

Why do you guys insist on dumping that snake oil into your engines?

Ranger, it helps in my opinion.

Actually, i hate to admit this, but i think the water method works better. Its kerosene, i know.

    Re: Oh

The water method does work very well. I have done it many years ago on carbureted engines, but on these engines I would be very leary. Too easy for water (or any liquid) to pool up in the manifold and then suddenly slug a cylinder. Instant hydrolock = bye bye engine. Beside that, I'm not really convinced that it actually accomplishes much more than making the user feel like he is doing some good. I think the risks out way the benefits by far.

    Re: Oh

Seafoam usually produces a large cloud of smoke, when I did it on my bronco it looked like a bomb went off. Sounds like it may have found a vacuum leak to come out of under the hood.

    Re: Oh

I'm gonna market a new engine cleaning product called "BLOWFOAM".

It will cure carbon buildup, genital herpes, repair worn plugs, sticking piston rings, rattling con rods, slipping chains, increase gas mileage 25%, increase tire life, reduce octane requirement, allow E-66 use, and clean your cooling system.

It will be light neon blue in color and available in 55 gallon drums @ $0.85/gal or 8 oz. spray cans for $13.99 each. It will carry my "Golden 90 Warranty": 90 seconds or 90 feet, whichever occurs first.

Oh....It will also unclog a stuck cat, gwaronteed, ol' buddy. We got a long way to go and a short time to get there, Eastbound and down, loaded up an' truckin'...........

But will it promote hair regrowth if used topically? Then you could sign me up for a case.

    Re: Oh

While, it ended up being water pooling up near the waterpump housing, nailed the header when the engine was stuttering probobly. MY waterpump took a dump on me today in the car.

As well, since the seafoam, i have saw a 3mpg improvement driving the SAME route and same driving styles. I am a believer in the stuff for some reason. I think the water trick works better TBH.
