    possible 1/2 case oil leak.....

When I had the engine replaced in my Son's '99 Eldo last year I bought a 3 year warranty. And the car has run great, but I don't know if the oil leak which has developed will be covered...
In the event that it's not, what is a reasonable price for a 1/2 case oil leak repair ? Nothing has been easy with this car, and I'm preparing for the worst....It's never anything simple with these Northstars

    Thanks for your opinions,
    Mark

It won't be cheap. The drivetrain has to be dropped and the halfcase opened. If I remember correctly it is about an 18 hr job. For the cost of the repair it is better to live with the seepage.
