    seville with shifting problems 1rst > 2nd

    Hello all,
    I drive a '94 sls seville , it has run 110k miles.
Since start of this week i am having shifting problems , the car wont shift up from the 1rst to the 2nd , but this is only when it has ran for like 2-3 miles , before that it shifts smooth like it did before.
The problem occured when i was accelerating at the highway , and about 40 miles it shifted back from 2nd to 1rst.
But exept the high rpm , there where no hearable sounds that would explane a mechanical problem.
At the time my transmission oil was a bit low , but not under the minimun.
Anyone had the same problem before or got a indication what this can be ?

    Sander

I had a similar problem in my '95 Eldo. I did some research based on my symptoms and thought it was a shift solinoid. I took mine to the Cadillac dealer here in jacksonville, fl. (Claude Nolan cadillac) and told them that and that's what it was. My A-B shift solinoid was bad. look into that.
