    I know one of you guys answered this before, but I cannot remember the answer.

    When did the Northstar get the plenum (rubber coupler) between the TB & manifold? I thought it was with the 2000 redesign. In another thread, someone said they had it replaced in a '98.

    Yep, not until 2000.
    The '98 had a seal between the crossover and the intake and another gasket between the throttle body and the crossover.
    (I think)
    I like the plenum setups better, they are easier to work on.
