so i got a few PCM codes

I got some circuit codes, but i have

P1617 - Engine Oil Level Switch Circuit
P1520 - Transmission Range Switch Circuit

The first one, that is to tell how high the oil is, right, aka it wont go off if its low?

And the second, what the hell is that

the motor was changed in this car, i know that.

I didn't like "teaking" thingy I must admit . I presumed the engine was replaced by a dealer .So may be some solenoid problem might cause those codes too .

    Tweaking*

The guy knows tansmissions, and i am not sure if this is due to the new converter installed, or if it is just a sensor that took a dump.
I also had the dash that liked to shut down all the backlighting and the goofy driver number thingy. Some codes explain it.

P1617 - Engine Oil Level Switch Circuit
Just the opposite. It DOES go off when it is 2 qts. low. It is a low oil level warning.

P1520 - Transmission Range Switch Circuit
I think the Transmission Range Switch is what we used to call the PRNDL switch.
