    96 Cylinder head on 93 block

    Hi, newcomer here, just like to know if 96 cylinder head would fit on a 93 block, the engine goes in a 93 STS, the HG is blown and i could get the 96 heads, witch are completely redone, for cheap

    Yes they will bolt on. No they will not work for your application. The heads are not the same.

    Why do you think you need to replace the heads? It is the gasket that went bad. Be sure to Timesert the block unless you want to do it again.

    The heads don't go bad very often. Your's are probably good.
