If I were young..(LOL) and had this Caddy, I would take the shroud off the intake and clean it and use it in the winter. Induction temp needs to be cool as possible. Then I would start looking for ways to take a few hundred pounds off this machine. One is to cruise on no more than a quarter tank of gas. Stop often if ya have to and add a couple gallons. Can deal races at gas stations as well. Keep looking for ways to lose weight.

Spare tire out for sure. Excess bracket stuff and bumper guards...the list will grow. Use a bathroom scale. It adds up in a hurry! Many years ago,I got 400 pounds off a 56 Chevy with three on the tree and won some street races. Then i got into the engine. Losing weight is free. good way to start.....just
