    Smile Pcm part number ???

    I think I may be having some problems with my 95 STS PCM, after diging it out it turns out to be a Remanufactured one,,,,does anyone know what the origine part number would be ???? there is a near-by junk yard that has some but he needs the original numbers that start with 161 ???????? Thanks,,,,

    Does it have a removable chip? If it doesn't, it won't do you any good to pick one up at a junkyard. You would have to get a reman anyway and have it programmed at the dealer to get it to work.

    Yes it has a removable chip in it

    You lucked out there, but can't help you with the original part number. The parts book only lists the reman part numbers.
