Well, I'm planning on showing up. Kinda new around here, but I thought it would be fun. Going to Costco tomorrow. Was going to pick up some burgers and chicken for the grill!

Even though it's my mother's birthday, I got the old lady to buy in to a Sunday night dinner thing!

Yes, if the weather holds, it should be a good time had by all. I called the park the other day to enquire about notification or whatnot with such a large and motley crue showing up en masse, but the drone I talked to said I should talk to her boss and he wasn't in at that time and I should call back - rather than taking my number and having HIM call me. I haven't called back yet but I will, at some point. I don't see how there should be a problem but if I screw things up, blame it on senility....

The Eldo, the fiancee and the 11 year old son will all be there, and of course yrs truly.

I have a suggestion , though - before anyone stops and buys like 6000 lbs of hamburger and stuff, that when we get there and get together, it might make more sense to just see how many of us there are, how much food we might need, and send someone with a large trunk out for it with contributions. I'm sure that there has got to be a food market nearby (it's jersey,after all - our state flower is the paving stone ...) and that way no one is on the hook for a bunch of food that may get uneaten, or worse yet, not enough food for the angry mob...
