1992 eldorado anolog dash

I just got a 92 eldo, the check enjine light is on and the abs comes on after driving a few feet, the speedometer does not work but the tack does, and it's stuck on defrost, i tried to pull the codes by using the off and warmer buttons on the dash but it does not work all that happends is -- and zero trip and the milage does not appear on the bottom of the screen , this is an anolog dash, short of going to the dealer who wanted 100.00 an hour to just pull the codes, i need help...Please this purple car is great running, and I want to keep it that way.

Hello I am new to this forum, I am not even sure if I am posting right, but here goes anyway I took my 1992 eldorado to meineke car center. to get my check enjine light codes, they said that for some reson the codes would not come up. just 00 in the imfomations center....still stuck on def. mode. with no heat.....can anyone help me at all with this....thanks..I have been reading all the other post. great imformation
