Tri-State Date Poll - Sept 07

Ok just vote and tell me which date is best for you. We'll run this until the end of August. Since we decided that Sunday's are generally better for people that Saturdays I only chose the Sunday dates.

Since this is getting pretty close to the date (9/2 is a week away) have we decided on an official date? I know I'm not available on the 9th but the other Sundays are ok with me. I'd prefer the 2nd though.....

Dopestar, no one seems very interested in this meet. I keep getting the same 3 or 4 people to respond. I say we shoot for later in the month actually since as you mentioned it's getting close AND I'll be coming down tomorrow for the Starlight show.

Is anyone else going to that?

Well I'll be at the show today. I expect to get there around 1. I'll have a black/gray Cadillac shirt on.

OK well this is a drag. It looks like we have about 4 people including myself even interested in this. I'm not sure where all the excitement went but I'm disappointed.

Today is the 2nd, which got 3 out of 4 votes and no one has posted to this thread in a week.

If someone want to get together let me know. I'm not fighting to do this anymore. I'm going to start focusing on a starting or joining local club.

If we still want to do something this month, more than 3 people need to be into it for me to drive 2 hrs. Sorry guys it's nothing personal. I'd love to meet you all. I really though the Starlight show was going to be a meeting place but no one was into that either.

Well, it's also Labor Day weekend, people prolly have plans of some sort, I just realized Monday's Labor Day a couple days ago. Anyway I'm good for any Sunday in September except the 9th, so I'm in.......

Could be that it's football season and most NFL games are on Sundays.

I'm not buying it. Just tell me Saturdays or Fridays are better. Nothing is written in stone here. See that's just it, I'm trying to make this a semi-regular thing and ASKING what works for people, but there's no consistency to what people want.

The worst part is that the folks that DID reply all said they were flexible on the day.

Then when you ask what they want you get nothing, aside form the 4 people that have been with it the whole time. And with no discredit to them, 4 people isn't doing it for me.

There has to be more than 4 people on this board in the Tri-state area that want to meet. Or, maybe not.

Yup, that's what I said. It's a damn shame. All of a sudden we had no interest at all.

If you can make it work, go for it. If you have ideas on a different approach, give it a try. Maybe people just don't like me. Don't know man.
