hey wussup. so i went with a 20" setup staggered with 10" wide in the back. when i purchased my tires, Nitto Invos by the way, the 285s they said were to big and would make nearly a inch difference from front to back. it gonna be 275 in the back with 245 in the front. The difference in tire height this tim ewill be .13 of a inch which shouldn't affect the 4wd. hope they look good. sucks with4wd when it comes to staggered i guess. is your car 4wd?

Hello, i noticed your posts on fitting CTS-V rocker panels on your 2008 CTS. I wanna do the same.

Which year CTS-V rockers did you get? does it matter? Do you know if the CTS-V rockers are different from 2010 CTS rocker panels.... they look similar from the few pics i've seen.
The pics of your ride are sweet
Thanks for any info you can provide

Hey really admire your CTS. I just ran into this forum while researching wheels and rims, and REALLY like it. So i recently joined. One question i had was i believe your car had the stock 18" setup with the FE3 susp. I have the FE2. I am in the process of looking for 20" rims and which if I'm right, you have with a staggered setup. What size of tires would you run on the 20x8.5 wheels, and how would you rate the change of feel in your ride?

I put the chrome version of those Elite wheels on my STS recently. I can't get them balanced perfectly for highway speed, but they look great. Do you have centering rings for that wheel? I think the STS and the CTS have the same size hub bore, 70.3 and the wheel is 72.6 - That info is all internet research....looking for your expertise and experience

Hello. I tried to send you a private message but I can not since I am a new member. Huge fan of your car. I just picked up an 08 sedan, and I am looking to pick up some staggered wheels. Since every set of wheels I have seen on your car fit perfectly I was wondering if you could help me out. I would like to run a staggered set up with something similar to the TSW NURBURGRING, but I have no idea what offset fits the CTS the best (wheels flush with the fenders like your car). I would appreciate any info you could share with me about wheel fitment and tire size on the CTS. I am also in So Cal, any local shops I should check out?

    Thanks

I think I accidentally deleted my last message so if this is a repeat, sorry. My SSR's are 8.5" all around because of the AWD system. I didn't want to chance a staggered setup affecting the AWD system, even though I really love the look of staggered wheels. I got a decent deal on a new set of B'stone Potenza Pole Positions AS in 255/35/20 ($109/tire) so I jumped on it. The offset of the SSR's is 43 which should give me about 5mm clearance on the inner side and compensate for the extra tire width. When you talk to D3 next can you ask them if/when they are going to post pricing information for the sway bar kit they have advertised on their site? Thanks.

Hey BD sorry to trouble you but I just scored a set of 20x8.5 SSR GT3 wheels for my 09 DI AWD and am flip-flopping about tire sizes. I wanted to see what size you're running on your fronts since if I remember right your fronts are 8.5" wide??? I'm torn betwen a 255/35 and a 245/35. I guess I just don't want to have excess tire sticking too far out past the wheel lip and definitely don't want any rubbing on turn ins. Thanks.

    hey,

Your car is siiick...I've been in the bimmer scene for a while now, but I should be getting into a CTS soon. I just wanted to know what kind of front lip, sideskirts, rear, trunk lip and grill you have? And where did you get them and for how much? I have no idea where to get anything for cadi's...all I've found is D3, but I'm sure there are more out there. Thanks in advance!

p.s. I'm surprised I haven't seen you around town, I'm from LN too!

    Black Dahlia,

I was searching the forums and found that you dis-engaged your daytime running lights (DRL's) by pulling the fuse for them. Do you still have them dis-engaged? Have you had any problems since doing it and could you please tell me which fuse it was. I am looking to do the same thing and can use some of your help!

    Thanks,
    Dan (badblkcts)
