I would be REALLY interested if we could just get the lens and scrap the housing... That should keep the price down more, but I feel as though we might be SOL on that dream. And it really doesn't look like much would be spared...

It seemed like you weren't going to be able to put it together... We haven't taken any orders/sales from the forum for these lights so if you want to put the group buy together feel free. If you want you can use the thread I started here to coordinate it.
I never intended to steal any credit for this mod or to imply that it was mine.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you and Kael for doing all of the preliminary work to figure this out...
