New Caddy Owner, Need Some Help

Hello,

A few days ago I bought an '88 Cadillac Fleetwood, the FWD version with 4.5 under the hood.

Couple of questions though.

First off, it runs like crap. It fires right up, but has a hell of a time taking gas.
Also the tranny shfts hard, like taking it out of park into reverse.

It idles all right, I like the sound of it, but I think thats do to an exhaust leak...any known weak areas?

and I think that covers it all for the moment.

first off has it been sitting may need new gas....run it out and refill....may need major tune and injector clean....
The trans has 2 problems, one the running problem needs to go away next your both front engine mounts are shot, replace them......
