Oil pan gasket

Remove this ad
Oil pan gasket on my '93 Eldo 4.9 is leaking. FSM says to remove exhaust crossover pipe and reposition. Can this be done up on ramps? How tough was the pipe to remove? Any tips on doing so? Any way to get the pan down without removing the pipe?
TIA
DFB
