    swap 1987 4.1 to 4.5

    I'm thinking of if need be swapping my 1987 Deville fwd 4.1 to a 4.5 what should I know ? what if anything I need extra ? will it just bolt up ?

    I have had cooling problems with my 4.1

    advise please

    I believe you need to swap over your intake manifold to the 4.5.

    If you're going to go through the trouble, why not go to a 4.9?
