    Fuel Injectors

While going through some of my dad's auto junk, I came across 8 fuel injectors that came out of his 1988 Lincoln Town Car. My dad replaced them when they didn't even need replacement. My question is, can I use these injectors in my 1990 Eldorado with the 4.5 engine.

If they are the top feed Bosch style injectors, you should be able to fit them. That said, you should look into the flow rating for the injectors, because if they're too big in flow (physical dimensions will not change), they may not work properly with your engine management system, which I believe it uses 16 lb/hr injectors.

Ideally, you don't want to change injector flow by more than a pound or two for stock configuration. So if they're in the 16-18 lb/hr range, give them a shot. Any larger and you may have some serious closed-loop issues with the ECM.
