    oil pressure switch on 82' 4100

    i think mine went bad and im gonna try an replace it tomorrow. can anyone give me any info on this? where is it located? how hard is it to remove and replace? thanks.

    had mine changed at the oil change place for like $50.

    On my 4.5 it's on top of the motor on the oil filter housing. Should be a piece of cake to R&R.

    I'm guessing because you didn't list the type of Cadillac in your signature profile? I assume its a rear wheel drive Brougham? If so, its just above the oil filter. Be gentle removing the plastic retainer around it to unplug the wiring.
