| 4.1 engine weight and application ?
I was thinking about finding an HT4100 engine with transmission from a full-size RWD Caddy to put in my Triumph Spitfire. But I cannot find how much the 4.1 weights, being aluminum block and all. The "low output" of a 4.1 wouldn't really matter in a 1700 lb. car like mine. Anything you can offer about how much the 4.1 engine weights, and such, would be greatly appreciated. Also, do you think this engine would make a suitable swap for a little project like this? Thanks. |
