1st and 2nd design oil pressure switch?

One has a 3/8 inch thread the other has a 1/4 inch. How can I tell the difference without pulling the switch? And also what would be the best replacement part for my 4.9?

Never heard of 2 different sizes. The oil lines and associated fittings should all be 3/8. In any case, you can simply buy the appropriate brass bushing at any hardware store to make the switch fit. Use teflon tape on the threads.
