My ISC motor died yesterday and I was just wondering - can I just adjust the screw on the piston to match the old ISC motor? I went through my haynes manual and found you had to get a tach, apply 12V to one of the terminals to retract it, etc. blah! Way too complicated and I don't want to spend like 70 bucks on a tach!
It's called "min-air adjust" and if you don't do it, the idle and off-idle performance will be questionable at best. You may also see some check engine lights and codes. If you need the procedure, let me know.
