Hi,
So, when I'm running my car, it lurches and jerks. It shakes pretty severely at stops, too. There's not a clicking noise when I turn, which would be indicative of a torn CV boot, but the lurching does get worse around turns. It's the worst if only slight pressure is put on the gas pedal, and the least if I've got the accelerator pushed down hard. This is my first car, and I love it, but I bought it used from an older woman who rarely drove it. I've had the water pump, brake lines, and a few other things replaced. I checked all the fluid levels and they're all good, so I'm clueless as to what could be wrong. Could it still be the CV boot? Or likely something worse?
It's got a 4.9 engine.
