Looking to replace camshaft to fix lack of power & hesitation - ht4100

Does anyone know where to find a camshaft (or cam lobes maybe?) for a 1984 cadillac deville with the ht4100 engine? I'm looking for high performance to prevent the wear of the lobes in the future.
    Thanks,

The only thing I know of was a shop that made custom cams for the 4.9 but even then it was all made-to-order jobs. You'll have to get one made

Replacement cam lobes are right next to the blinker fluid at any reputable parts store.

I heard once that the camshaft in a 4.1 cannot be removed, because you would break the bearings and make them unusable.

    I don't know if that's correct though
