Has anyone replaced an A/C Compressor on a 4.1 L? How hard was the job? I will also replace the dryer/accumulator and orifice tube & 134a Conv valves.
Is this a FWD or RWD model?
I'm assuming fwd. Not a horrible job, most easily done through the right side wheel well. Getting at the bracket and tubes on the rear of the compressor can be a bit of a hassle, but it just takes a little patience. Nothing actually difficult.
sorry yes 1986 deville ht4100 4.1L
