Hey guys!

So we just got the car rolling and my granbdfather was on his way home when the waterpump went bad...

He wants me to finish it today (christmas is in two days and he'd like to see his family) and i am having troubles with this bad boy.

Ive got the shroud, fan and belts off. Now it looks like the Crank Pulley AND P/S pump need to come off. The crank pulley im sure i can just use a steering wheel puller on it.

But what am i supposed to do about getting the pump off?

guys, i really wanna do this for my grandfather and id appreciate any and all help!

its an 85 biarittz 4.1

thank you so much!

I cant believe no one has responded to your post by now!
That power steering pump pully blocks removal of a bolt and requires a special tool to remove and install, you might be able to rent one from an auto parts store. good luck. Oh pay attention which bolts go where, they are different lengths.
The crank pully is bolted on, no puller required.
