So the cam sensor aka “Hall Effect Switch”, is inside the distributor, under the rotor?

    Re: Cam position sensor replacement

When it died on my 1994 it just stopped working. The first couple times the car stalled while driving. Then it finally gave up completely and stalled and wouldn't start again. It ran fine upto that point.
