Seems like a lot of work. Why not just purchase a remanufactured distrubutor?
I visited my local salvage yard and found a good one for cheap.

how did you reach the fourth picture? I am attempting to check my pickup coil, but I can't figure out how to get to it. What tools do I need? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
