    4.5 Computer Tachometer

I saw a thread about this a long time ago, and it told how to look up the tachometer on the computer of my 88 Deville. I think I figured it out, though, but am not sure if I am looking under the right code. I think it is listed under P.0.8. Does anyone know if that is the correct code for the tachometer? Thanks.

The tach once displayed, is a 3 digit number. On my Eldo its parameter is 11 not 8. Mine maxes out at 199, in other words 1999 RPM. The tach is useful to verify torque converter lock up and correct idle speed. Once the car is turned off, you have to re enter diagnostics.
