    Unhappy Huge Problem HELP !!!

Recently had wifes '85 Eldorado tuned up . New wires , plugs , distibuter cap etc . by our local shop , in fact it was at the place she bought it . Next day driving along it stalled , no bucking or anything just stalled . Got it home ok and ran trouble codes ... only shows code 52 . Cleared code and started it up ... ran good then stalled and I pulled up same code again . Oh yes , car starts right up with one turn of the key right after it stalls AND did not have this problem before tune up . TCC switch also disconnected . Any ideas ?? Thanks .

IIRC 52 means that the ECM is losing power (like someone is disconnecting the battery). So, make sure that *ALL* the power wiring is solid. Check the battery terminals too. Other than that maybe the ECM is bad and is slowly losing its "mind".

The shop probably disconnected the battery when performing the tune-up, hence the E52 code. Clear the codes, and see if E52 reappears. If so, then the ECM is losing power like peteski said.

Other than that, it's hard to say. You'd need to determine if it's a fuel or ignition issue.

Hey guys , I checked all connections & grounds , all seem ok . I cleared the codes and now it keeps flashing a different code each time it is reset AND the fuel data display only will read zero . Is it time for a new ECM ?

With the engine OFF, are you getting 12.5 volts across the terminals? What do you get with the engine running?
