Bosch 19# Injectors
Have been trying to diagnose this rough idle/performance issue, and have come down to injectors. I have read on here about the advantage of the Bosch 19# injectors from the Fords. Question is there are apparantly 2 designs, the "Gen II" and "Gen III" which are both interchangable. The IIs have the metal center section that is fat, and the IIIs look to be all plastic, and skinny. Question is whats the big difference, who has tried what, and what works best in our cars? Going into a 94 Deville 4.9L.

Re: Bosch 19# Injectors
I got a full set of Bosch design Accel 19# injectors from Jegs for about $260. They're all metal, I assume gen II design. Plug'n play. The guy where I get my injectors cleaned told me the stock ones are of a poor design and plug easily after telling me he couldn't guaratee much improvement in cleaning them. Ford 5.0 or GM 305 units will work.
BTW, he only cleans them doesn't sell them. Rich at www.cruzinperformance.com/ if anyone considers having them cleaned.
