    engine timing in 92 Eldorado

I have a 92 Eldorado with 107k miles. I was concerned if the timing belt needed changed, but the service manual that you log gives no information on replacing the belt. Is this because it is a chain? Just concerned because a friend with a Bonneville had major engine damage when the timing belt broke.

We're lucky, Cadillacs don't need this type of service because a lifetime timing chain was used.
