Sorry to keep asking about these codes....
But I now have an F85 comming up.
Can anyone link me to a site with explainations for all the codes?
I know there is this one: http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/dtcobd1.html
but it's not really for the older cars (I believe it's for north star vehicles and later) and only some of the codes are accurate.
Another suggestion wold be to "sticky" the codes at the top of this forum so that people (like myself) dont have to bother you gurus all the time.

Re: F85 error?
F85 is not a code. It is the onboard diagnostics prompt for the BCM data parameters. You must have hit the "outside temp" button after the codes displayed and the system displayed .7.0 ....
From now on, after the codes display, when the system displays .7.0 press the "OFF" button to exit from the diagnostic mode....LOL
BTW....after the system displays .7.0 ..............
...................If you simultaneously press and hold the OFF and HI buttons it will erase the PCM codes.
...................If you simultaneously press and hold the OFF and LO buttons it will erase the BCM codes.
Then press OFF several times to exit the system.
