    Talking AC duct rattle

Thanks for all your info reg. the caddies, very helpful and interesting discussions here.
Just got a 91 DeVille, Touring. Got it from a friend and it's in pretty good condition with 82k miles.
I spent some money already doing tune-ups, trans oil change, wheel bal., and had to replace the dist. cap and wires ($500 total)
There is a persistent buzzing vibration at iddle that I found out was the AC duct (looks like the AC duct), and apparently the engineers at GM knew about this because there is already a cushioned bracket that connects it to the front fender.
The vibration gets better with the AC off, but it's still there.
Does anyone know about this problem?
I appreciate your help with the info.

Are you talking about the high pressure AC lines...??? They may be misaligned somewhere so that they are touching the sheetmetal and causing the noise. Follow the lines and check for clearance all along the routing. That is why the rubber isolators are there...to keep the lines away from the body and eliminate the noise. If misrouted or bent or something then the buzzing can result.
