Thumbs up Introducing HP Tuners

I would just like to introduce ourselves and welcome any and all questions you may have about our product. Let me start off by saying we're very excited about supporting the Cadillac market and hope to offer you guys the best tuning solution available at the best price.

What we offer is a full Tuning Suite powerful enough for a tunershop but easy enough to use & navigate through even for someone completely new to tuning like I was some 4 years ago when HP Tuners was first introduced to the public and the software as well as the company has been expanding ever since.

We offer two different packages the Standard version($499) & the Pro version($649) the only differences between the two are the Hardware itself

Pro on the Left, Standard on the Right

The pro will do everything the standard will do but ADDS Standalone Datalogging which means the ability to scan your vehicle without the need for a laptop in the vehicle at all times. The pro also ADDS 4 analog inputs for things like widebands, egt sensors, etc to be logged directly into the scanner as well as adding 2 outputs which can trigger anything from nitrous, to a shift light. We always recommend the Pro Version because its additional features are well worth the extra few dollars.

The current Cadillac models we support are
  • 04-07 Cadillac CTS-V 5.7/6.0
  • 05-07 Cadillac CTS 2.8/3.6
  • 02-07 Cadillac Escalade 5.3/6.0/6.2
  • 06-07 Cadillac STS 3.6/4.4/4.6
  • 06-07 Cadillac XLR 4.4/4.6
  • 06-07 Cadillac DTS 4.6
  • 04-07 Cadillac SRX 3.6

And we hope to be able to add more years/models as time goes on.

Our full current supported vehicle list can be found here
http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite_vehicles.php

Just some of the features included are:
  • Hundreds of supported vehicles & operating systems
  • Flexible credit based system
  • Two Different Hardware interfaces
  • Hundreds of Editable parameters
  • Powerful compare feature
  • Integrated Scanner
  • 3 Styles of Editor Navigation
  • Comprehensive Help File
  • Huge support forum open to anyone
  • Custom Operating systems available to many Gen 3 V8 operating systems

Re: Introducing HP Tuners

Hp tuners i see that you have a tune for the 07 Holden Captiva 3.2L. Its a v6 alloytec , and its a gm aussie car correct ?? Isnt the same motor in the captiva in the older models cts.? If so isnt the software tune already done for the 3.2L all,and all that would be needed is the usb cord?? The specs read its the same.

I'm really trying here to put somethings together for the 3.2L family see what you can throw at me as far as info please,so i can try ,and get this ball rolling. Thanks

Re: Introducing HP Tuners

Unfortunately it isn't as easy as that. Even when engines and transmissions etc. are the same from model to model or year to year, something in the computer usually changes. That something usually necessitates another development cycle. This development cycles could vary in terms of man-hours from hundreds to thousands of man-hours depending on what the change is. This is why things like this will take time.

Thank you,

Jay

Re: Introducing HP Tuners

Have you thought of trying to do a group buy for the scanner? I would like one but I'm on the fence and I would guess I'm not the only one.

BTW, Do you sell the wide band O2 sensors and if so how much?
How do the credit's work? Is it how many times you can tune the same car?
Does it come with an instruction manual?
Does it go over how to tune a car (I'm new to this) if not do you recommend any books or reading?
