Hoover has a bit of separation anxiety, but he has excellent hotel manners. I've never had a problem; he settles down within a few minutes. Were he not such a well-behaved traveler, I probably wouldn't bring him along.

I was surprised on the trip to Des Moines two years ago that he never got tired of riding, even after spending practically the entire day in the car (although we made more frequent rest stops than I would have on my own). He was always ready to go. |
