Get a local dealer to donate the shirts. Clearly they have the rights to use the crest because I currently have a shirt that has the most enormous Cadillac Crest on the front and it says "COVERT CADILLAC" on it - the dealer handed it out to their customers

One of my friends who is a little out there actually has a whole theory about why Wal-Mart uses the star in their name. He says its because that was the only way they could get the Chinese to manufacture products so cheaply for them.

I could make that even simpler and just put "Stalin" on there.

Excellent idea. Gary (the other one, not me, obviously), don't you have a good customer relationship with a local Cadillac dealer?

With quite a few members attending from the Chicagoland area, it would likely be some nice advertising for them. I wouldn't mind paying for one either, so long as it's not more than $20 (most car shows I attend with Betty include a shirt with the entry fee, which is usually $20 or less).

I'm with Jim on this one......I'd rather spend the $20 on a drink or two, and I really don't ever wear t-shirts.

We have to go to Uncle Bub's sometime as well, mainly because they have Green River at the soda fountain.

You didn't go to North? I went there and had to spend a hour and a half on a bus each day. It sucked.

Nope, parents wanted me to go to catholic grade school plus I lived in Westmont at the time, not Downers Grove. Thankfully, I only had to ride the bus in 3rd grade. Before that, my friend's mom always drove us to school. I ended up taking the bus all the time when I moved to PA in 4th grade. I was on there for about an hour and a half like you

Dang hour and half on the bus reminds me of grade school.....though those were the country routes that some of my classmates were on the bus for up to an hour one way, thankfully I lived just outside of town and was always last one on and first one off . The joys of growing up out in the boonies.

Re: Chicago Meet -- August 28-30 -- Official thread

My senior year of high school when I started going to Technology Center of DuPage (a branch of College of DuPage for high school kids) for the afternoon I had to spend around 2.5 hours on the bus each day. It took 45 minutes to get to/from school in the morning/afternoon and then another half hour each way to get to/from TCD. My mp3 player has a lot of hours on it from those days.
