Ok here goes maybe someone will have an idea on where i can start on fixing this problem.

My car (baby) 1995 DeVille my wife smacked up bad. I decided to have the car fixed (about 3k in damage) I got the car back and all was good for 1 week and then the fan stop working. I returned the car to the place and they replaced the fan free of charge. Took them a week to get and they said they had to have it shipped in. When i got the car back i now notice that when i turn the car off and open the drivers door it no longer shuts the radio or puts the interior light on. I have to open one of the other doors on the car so the radio will go off and not kill the battery.

I looked on the door and i dont see a switch on the door jam like my ford used to have to activate this.

What bothers me is that it worked the 1st time they returned the car to me but now it does not

Where do i start the trouble shooting

Thanks in advance

I have a 99 deville that I just replaced the torque converter in, When I got her all back together it ran 5 minutes and quit , Theft system fault car may not start warnig was showing , also every square in the shift indicator was lit. I checked the codes and every modual was throwing a u1255 code. I thought I was in for a nightmare . I stopped at a local garage after work and asked the owner if He could test the pcm if I brought it in , he asked me for the codes and when I told him that I had several u1255 codes he told me my problem was a short to ground on the buss wires that power the moduals. He told me to unplug the moduals 1 at a time until I found the one that put the codes out , and the short would be in the wire near that modual. I could not see why this would work. I went home and unplugged the abs modual first as I had had it apart ot take the trany out, The codes went away, I unwrapped the cable up about 5" and found a bare ground wire , wrapped it in tape put it all together and she runs without any codes.I was extremely happy! I took the guy a $5 for his advise , He told me he learned this from experience , not from a book. I thought this might be valuable information to any one who comes up with a bunch of u1255 codes

I have been having some problems with my 95 STS. I have been getting a lot hesitation and bogging and the fuel pump seems to be fine. I was told that my PCM could be faulty do to me having a bad heater core leak. Now I do know that i need to get a PCM with the same service number on it and take the PROM out of my old PCM and put it into the new one. Is there anything else I need to do? Any help would be appreciated, I've had this car for a month only and has been nothing but problems.

I checked my wiring with a volt meter at the inverter and Im getting 50 volts out of each of the connections. I have two connections outputted to the lamps, one for each side, and one connecter with the input voltage. Input reads at 11 v, and output reads at 50 a piece. Is this correct?

So I've had several issues in the last month with my 98 concours. Last year I did the water pump crossover gaskets. While in there I guess I didnt tighten down the main pcm ground which in return damaged the pcm. Got that figured out after "no pcm data" on the DIC, 2 pcms and still the same problem. Shop found the ground and all is well with the pcm. I changed the hearter core earlier in the month had to remove the ACM to get the heater core out. Now Im having the same issue with RSS computer as I did with the PCM. The RSS module is cycling air ride compressor on and off...go to pull codes and I have serveral modules with U1300 codes, when its time to read the codes to for RSS module it says no "RSS data" However I do get data with the key in just the on position motor not running. The climate control goes wacky and the fuel gauge drops to empty. I did have to replace the key pellet reader in the ignition because of broken wires. Anything would help me out greatly here. I have a guy at my shop that really wants to fix this problem!

I found the source of the ticking sound coming from the glovebox area of my '90 DeVille. I could reel the relay pulsing when it "ticks". The ticking sound corresponds to the clock, HVAC, and Fuel Data Center lights flashing off and on.
This relay has a mini-wiring diagram on it; circuits 30, 85, 87a, 87, and 86.
Can anyone identify these circuits? Is this relay a dealer-only item? Expensive to replace?
Thanks in advance.

i have a 94 cadillac deville that ive put alot of money into but on thing i cant seem to figure out is i have no vaccum pressure to control my vent system in the car and most times it starts hard. first the vaccum pressure thing.... everything is connected and nothing is missing... i changed the heater vaccum motor control but no change... i noticed there is a air canister on passenger side wheel well and also another air line going to so type of vaccum pump with alse is interconnected to throttle. id like to get this fixed but i can seem to find a solution then to just replace everything one by one. i also only get heat on the passenger side of car.
no for the hard starts... i usually gotta flick the key a few times along with some gas to get it started... ive changed fuel filter, plugs, wires, distrubuter cap and rotor and no change. used Sea Foam and other carb and engine products... nothing. my gas milage is reallyu starting to dip to. my old mechanic boss thinks is the fuel injectors but ive heard other things to. i would liek a god sugestion. i dont with to spend 1000 more because i would like to sell it next winter because i have a sts now. im greatfull for help and can also email me at ags_garza@hotmail.com
