It sure looks like it! I like the next generation. If Cadillac is becomes profitable again; maybe the XLR will be re-introduced maybe in 2016!

I bought a new 2009 XLR-V earlier this month with only 25 miles on it. It did not seem to be able to decide which gear it wanted to be in, especially when not warmed-up yet. I took it to the dealer and was told that it was still in the break-in period and needed up to 1000 miles to learn my driving habits and then it would calm down. At 650 miles the transmission went out and I was stranded 200 miles out-of-town. The transmission is now being replaced. Anybody else had problems with the XLR within the first month of purchase?

Did you know that Cadillac made two unique 2009 XLRs with the Bvlgari instrument panel. Bowling Green made 1 regular XLR and 1 V-series at the beginning of the model year in September 2009.

My name is chris and I am from beautiful Austria/EUROPE.
I drive a 05 XLR and a 01 Deville.
Now i saw the new 09 modell XLR and specially the rear bumper and the new exhaust outlet is beautiful. Does anybody know if they fit the 05 modell?
I think its only a facelift and the bolt on lugs are the same as on the older modell? Other question: To lower the car only D3 Cadillac has a coilover system?

Thanks first a lot
