I would assume it should be pretty close to zero, my other vehicles read zero or within a couple percent.

I've searched with negative results...

Okay, this is totally frackin' ridiculous! Up until a couple of days ago I've been tapping into some of the speaker leads coming from the Bose amp in the trunk to get my remote input. But for some odd reason it's quit working lately and only provides enough voltage to intermittently turn my aftermarket amp on. Additionally, ever since I initially wired it I noticed that every time you open or close or lock or unlock the doors or open the trunk it gives the wiring coming out of the Bose amp a temporary voltage spike that in turn activates my amplifier and THUMPS my sub. But whatever, at least it worked...

But for whatever reason these wires no longer provide enough voltage (around 6 volts tops) to trigger my amp to come on. Again, whatever...I'll just find another wire in the myriad of wires in the trunk that provides 12 volts whenever the stereo is on, right? WRONG!!

I just spent the last two hours with my voltmeter checking EVERY wire and fuse in the trunk and could not find ANY that provided a dedicated circuit for the stereo. Both radio-related fuses in the trunk fuse box provide 12 volts ALL the time, not just when the radio is on.

Seriously? Is there not a single wire in the trunk that only provides a 12 volt source when the stereo is powered up? Am I missing something? Even the main, large red w/ black stripe power wire that goes into the Bose amp has power running to it ALL the time.

Am I going to have to settle for a wire that is powered at all times when the ignition is on? I mean, I guess this is fine assuming I want my amplifier on whenever the car is running regardless of whether I'm listening to music or not. I'm just a little miffed at my inability to find what I was looking for.

Rant done.

If someone knows something I don't, please chime in!

Tony

Please bear with me here I'm new to the Cadillac scene, I just bought a new 2009 CTS-DI Performance sedan.
I have 2 issues with it the first one I have already taken it back to dealer and they refused to do anything with it.
It's the lower drivers seat cushion the leather cover is loose like it's been stretched by someone 500+lbs sitting in it for 10,000 miles.
The car had ~700 miles on it when I picked it up and the seat was that way then, but being a Saturday the service dept was closed so I waited a few weeks to take it back @~1300 miles so they tell me there is nothing wrong with it!
Is this normal for a $50,000.00 car?:ill: I traded in a perfect 2005 GTO with some of the best seats ever to come out of GM.:banghead:

The other thing is I have a vibration that I was thinking were tire flat spotting
but after a few days reading on this forum I'm beginning to wonder.....:(

Are any of your seats showing this kind of wear at brand new miles?:annoyed:

So, about three weeks ago I got my 2009 CTS 3.6di fully loaded.
I told you guys about the steering wheel vibrations at certain speeds, I got few suggestions saying it as something to do with the control arms.
Yesterday I took it to the dealership for a look up. After few hours checking it they came into conclusion that it has something to do about the wheels(!?)
They replaced all 4 wheels to the same Michelin one's and the vibrations are gone!
I wonder how can the wheels (brand new stock Michelin) can effect the steering wheel that way.

Anyway, the car drive's silky smooth now and I can be any happier about it!:alchi:

Had Ford products the last 40 years with very good experience. Been reading these threads for the past two months and have heard of lots of problems with CTSs. Anybody been trouble free with the CTS for, say, the first 12k miles or first year of ownership?

I have this occasional ticking noise coming from the headliner above my left ear as I drive on concrete roads. I pulled the headliner apart a bit the other day and found a couple of electrical lines running through there along with something covered in a plastic bag like material. I was wondering if anyone knows if the side curtain air bag is up there. I'd like to zip tie the plastic to stop it from making the noise but want to be careful I don't mess anything up.

I noticed that the 2010 CTS standard engine is now a 3.0 Liter with 270 HP, but much less torque (I believe 223 ft lb of Torque) than the previous standard 3.6 Liter engine. Only the Direct Injection version of the 3.6 Liter is offered and that's only on the Performance and Premium models.

The 3.6 is such a great engine. Why do you think Cadillac changed to a smaller displacement engine? I have my own ideas why. I have an '07 with the 3.6L. I love everything about the car, but from day one, I was always disappointed with the gas mileage. I never got anywhere near the 17 City, 26 Highway that Cadillac states this engine gets. I mean it's a great engine - smooth as ice, very powerful. That's why you have to ask why Cadillac would go away from such a great, proven engine as the standard engine. I know that GM has gotten more "MPG conscious", so I would have to believe that the MPG on the 3.6 is the reason they changed.

What's your opinion on why they changed?

I have a 2009 cts. Came out one hot day and there is a crack across the whole windshield. don't know why. not a rock. Just a single crack across the whole windshield right in the line of site. chip. btw this was shortly after I bought the car, exec demo with 10000kms.

I know this is a long shot, but would this be covered under warranty?

Also, what could cause this crack? Dramatic temperature change, improper windshield installation (i notice its put in off center), or did somebody vandalize it(it was just parked in a hotel parking lot)?

Hi All,

I was rear-ended at a stop light yesterday in my new CTS. I filed a claim with the other driver's insurance company (UAIC), and they are going to send an adjuster to inspect it. There is some bumper damage, but not too serious. My questions are: what to look for when getting estimates? Do most people just go to the dealer? Any other advice? I haven't been involved in an accident in 30 years, so I don't really know what to look out for.

Thanks.

Hey guys,
I'm starting to think about trading in my 03 CTS and my 02Jimmy to get a CTS4 with low km..probably around 20k or so.
What is there I should be looking for? Common issues, leaks rattles, anything that could pose a problem down the road.
Is there any problems with the 08 that was fixed for 09?
The 04-07 3.6 has oil consumption issues, is this still present in the new 3.6 or was it resolved?
I haven't decided firm yet on a new cts, I may just keep my 03 and get someting different for winter but we will see.

I have a 2008 CTS and I have had battery issues. On the 4th battery - had the car for 16 months. Purchased car July 08.

1. May 09 - dead battery with no warning. Roadside gave me a jump and drove to dealership. Dealership notes battery shorted.
Engine code P0391 (ignition system). Dealership said this was a false code due to the low battery voltage.

2. July 09 - dead battery again with no warning. Able to jump start and drove to dealership. Dealership notes battery failed. Told it was a dead cell

3. Sept 09 - dead again this time it would not jump start. Had it towed to dealership. I asked them to check alternator and charging system. Dealership replaced battery again and said they ran a check on everything. They told me I was not driving it enough. I disagree.
* My driving habits have not changed since I purchased the car. I went from July 08 - May 09 with no problems with these same driving habits.

If this truly was the case, I have been letting the car run in the driveway on days that I have not driven it. Ridiculous that I paid over 40k for a car that I have now lost trust in.

4. Nov 09 (TODAY)- going back to the dealership this afternoon. Service engine light came giving the P0391 code that I got back in May that they said was due to low battery voltage.

Question: What is your battery voltage while driving?
I have been watching mine. Here is an example: Before I started the car I turned to accessory mode and it was 12.1 As soon as I started the car, it jumped to 14.7 Drove about 2 blocks with the a/c on and it droped to 13.0
After driving about 20 minutes it went up to 13.9 after a few minutes it dropped back to 13.0. Couple minutes later back to 13.8. Stopped at the post office. Starting driving again it was 12.9. Waiting in traffic, up to 13.5 - watched it drop to 13.0 and then back up to 13.9 then I watch it drop back to 12.9. Normally during the work week, it stays on 12.9 while I drive about 20 minutes each way in 30-40 mph traffic.

What should the voltage be and should it be jumping back and forth?
What do I need to tell the dealership when I go back this time?

Can it be cleaner or polished before I raise hell on monday with the owner? I mentioned it to the guy right away but he had excuse after excuse. I know 100% they did it. Just bought my car. Anyway some advice would be great or does anyone know how much it would be to replace? thanks in advance

I was going to try and adjust my sunroof since the dealers told me basically I'm nuts! :cookoo: After looking at the screws, I don't have the proper "star / allan" head wrench and I'll assume the screw is metric, which I lack those tools in the lower sizes.

Anyway, I recall years ago a service manager told me that if you can pull a dollar bill through the window and seal...it needs to be tightened. Well, not only can I pull it, I can push it...slide it from drivers side to 1/2 way to passenger side. To me too much play.

My question...those of you with sunroof and no wind noise....can you slide a bill between seal and window...and is it tight / snug or very loose.

(I notice just looking at it it seems a little cocked and when you close the door the roof somewhat "puffs" up)

Thanks in advance!

29,900 miles and as I was just about to finally say the CTS is performing really well the dreadful MIL light came on. This afternoon as I did some errands I notice the light and decided to call OnStar. What a waste of time! Second time I used them in last 2 years and the same result, e.i. NO RESULTS! They are absolutely useless!
Anyway, I pulled over to a nearby AutoZone and they read the code – P0024, cam shaft sensor malfunction. It seems that it is quite common issue with the 3.6l engines as my research showed. The same problems plagues Chevy, Cadillac and other brand, all equipped with this engine.

The problem is I have to go to the airport early Monday morning so the only day I can take her to the dealer is next Friday. We will see what the dealer has to say.

Now I may safely say: the CTS is the most troublesome car I have ever owned. It already spent more time at the dealer that all my past cars combined! Talk about GM quality and reliability. And some on this board bashed CR, TrueDelta and J.D Powers when they published reliability and quality statistics and the results were not good…

Sorry for the post but I wanted to make all of you guys aware of the possible problem when you get closer to the magic 30,000 miles.

I assume this Cadillac approved dealer option would use the OEM headrest and probably displays the caddy / cts logo on start up.

I was looking at the battery in the trunk yesterday.

Silly question ..

What's the proper procedure to disconnect the negative lead?

There is a black rubber covered lever that looks like its locked into place. I can slide to out to the opening, but it does not release or move up or anything obvious.

I'm used to the older cars with the locking nut to loosen, but don't see a nut on this one.

Is there some special tool you have to use, or am I just not seeing it? I don't want to exert any excessive force and break something, so I just slid it back into locked position.

It's probably very obvious, I'm just being cautious.

Thanks..

Can anybody confirm or deny that the size and design (size of duct and slotted part) of the lower bumper bezel (non-fog-light) is the same for 2008 and 2009? It's open in 2008 and closed completely on my 2009. There's an insert I'd like to try (See post by Mr Snappy in Appearance) but only if it fits properly. Only takes a couple of small holes for installation and I don't mind drilling.

Hi all,

I'm coming up on about 42k with my 3rd oil change scheduled in a month or two probably. I was wondering, realistically, what other service items should I get done? I feel the car runs fine, but I don't know if I realistically need more than an oil change and tire rotation. I know I can look at the owner's manual, but I don't know how legit that really is. Any advice is appreciated. The car is a lease due about a yr after the upcoming service if that helps in your recommendations, thanks.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums. Five Days ago I purchased my Raven black 2008 CTS DI. It is a certified used cadillac with 28,000 miles. The car is beatiful and I was very happy with it until yesterday when My check engine light came on.

Immediatly I took the car to the dealer and they were adamant in their claim it was a gas cap issue. I am very worried especially after reading online about cam issues with the CTS 08. I'm hoping they are right but I will have to wait until monday to bring it in to service. Is the gas cap an issue others have had? It may be my paranoia but after listening to the engine at idle the valve tapping sounds louder. I did purchase the extended warranty but am fearful my CTS is going to be in the shop all the time.

Does anyone on the forums know if we can pull codes anyother way as opposed to a star scan or onstar? The dealer said drive it for now but I am very hessitant to do so.

Thanks everyone in advance I am sorry for so may questions on my first post.

Via one of my google news alerts I discovered today a new article about the Flash-to-pass feature on 2010 CTS's equipped with bi-xenon headlamps. It appears that (beginning with the 2010 CTS) GM has addressed the 'daytime' flash-to-pass issue on vehicles equipped with HID bi-xenon's, as had been noted (complained about) in several reviews & road tests of the 2008 CTS back in 2007. The story states, "Indeed, GM has not only added the flash-to-pass feature but notes triumphantly that it didn’t even cost them any money".
This latest article on the matter of daytime flash-to-pass on the CTS was written/posted at a blog page made possible by our friends at.. where else.. ConsumerReports.org . Here's the link:

I know there are 2 "manual" resets you must do after installing a new battery: One is resetting the power windows auto-close feature (which is in the manual).

The other reset has something to do with the shift pattern of the transmission, but I cant find anything in the book. Does anyone here remember?

This is now my 3rd battery in 10,000 miles (2 yrs). Dealer shows nothing else wrong in the car. But I'm starting to get pissed!

this week. I'm wondering, does anyone else experience wind sound through their sunroof when closed. I've had it in twice and am told that it is the outside noise and turbulence.? I also noticed a bit of dampness / water in the gutter which they say is OK. What I don't like is that if you put your hand up in there you can deflect the noise.

The second dealer I had it to said it is primarily due to the windshield and the way it is / isn't sealed. They also said they ran water over the sunroof to try to get it to leak. The annoying thing is it's on the drivers side!

I guess I'll have to get one of those door draft things and put in there! :hmm:

I have an issue pop up intermittently when I back out of my driveway. Once in awhile after stopping and switching from Reverse to Drive, if I accelerate quickly the car the car will stop. It's a pretty sudden stop, which can be pretty jarring. I seem to recall reading something about this on this forum some time ago and that maybe there was a TSB on this. Does this ring any bells with anyone? I couldn't find it after doing a number of searches. Thanks for any help you can provide.

When my '09 CTS was delivered to the dealer in early June, their pre-service/vehicle prep dept applied the front license plate holder/bracket to my car ... despite my explicit instructions to the sales dept, when the order was placed, that this was NOT to happen. Needless to say I was p*ssed.
Anyway, I eventually accepted (bought) the car.. and a few days later I drilled out the 4 rivets that held the holder to the fascia. It wasn't easy viewing those 4 holes in my brand new car.
Regardless of what happened with the holder.. to be within the law in Ontario, a front plate does need to be displayed on the car. I decided to re-apply the LP holder with it inverted 180 degrees, using the bottom two drilled holes in the facsia as anchor points for the holder. This lowered the holder about 4" below the 'standard' dealer appl. At least it looked better that way. I've been operating the car with that front LP config since June, but decided after a while that I really didn't like it. If I had to have a license plate holder on the front of my beautiful new CTS, it had better look a lot nicer than that.
I thought about painting the holder, but couldn't decide on color (body color or grill color?) or the process to use. It occurred to me there was a lot of chrome on the car (including the front of the vehicle), and I should maybe go with a chrome holder. But an aftermarket flat chrome holder wouldn't do, on account of the pointed shape of the nose on the CTS. I thought.. what if I could have the existing holder plated?
It was then that I decided to locate a firm that could 'plate' the GM/OEM CTS LP holder. I eventually found a company in British Columbia that could do the job (C.V. Vacuum Platers Inc., in Mission, BC). So I went for it. I received the plated LP holder assy back today, and installed it straight away.
The remainder of the story is explained with the images below.

Hey everyone....well, we have an 08 CTS and have had steering shimmy issues with the car. I thought it was resolved with the new rim, but unfortunately wasn't the case. The shimmy came back and had multiple balances that didn't seem to correct it.

I took the car to Ed Morse Cadillac in Tampa (which is where the car was bought) and the Manger Wendy and Asst Mgr Joe went out of their way to help us resolve the issue. They started with road force balancing and got low road force numbers of less than 15lbs per tire. That didn't work, so we tried replacing the rack. Well, that didn't work. So now we tried putting a set of 18's from an 2010. Went for a ride and WOW, the shimmy was gone. It was nice to drive a shimmy free car! So, now we concluded that the tires are bad. We bought new tires and Wendy helped out by having Cadillac cover 50% of the cost. She really did go above and beyond to resolve this issue. Got the car back last saturday and went for a ride....everything still smooth. Thank you Wendy and Joe for your great service!!!!

On a side note....I drove the car home from work yesterday and the shimmy seemed to have come back, but then this morning it was smooth. I am wondering if the tires need some time to break in. I will give it a week or so to break in....i hope it doesn't come back. If it does...it will be the third time in for service for the same issue.

It needs to go from rail to the truck and it's difficult to determine how long that will take. Once it goes to the truck they usually wait 'till they have a full load.
I got the VIN# and just waitin' for the call saying, "It's Here."
The primary order was accepted (event code 1100) on 9/25. It's only 10/27 and already shipped. Yikes!

OK, so another thing I can't figure out: I have it set so that the doors unlock when I approach, and in the feature setting I have it set to unlock "all doors" yet when I approach the car, the only door that unlocks is the drivers door. I have to physically open the drivers door to get the other doors to unlock. Is it supposed to work this way? It's kind of a pain if you're approaching with your hands full and you want to put something in the back seat you have to still open the drivers door first. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of a setting that says "all doors." Am I missing something or is mine just now working correctly.

Another dumb question: when the HDD radio is paused or there's a buffer built up and you hit FF or REW, is it supposed to move smoothly back and forward like it would if you were fast forwarding or rewinding a CD? Mine just jumps in random increments (usually it jumps 4 minutes at a time, sometimes just one minute at a time, but it always jumps in a big block, rather than a few seconds at a time). Having read through some of the threads where people talk about the feature allowing them to replay a song, I'm guessing that it's this way by design, and it is actually skipping forward or back to the next dead airspace that it is belives as a gap before the next song. Since I mostly listen to talk, and want to skip through commercials, I'd prefer a smooth FF or REW, as it's somewhat of an inexact science moving in 4 minute blocks.

I have a 2008 CTS. I'm going to be bringing it in for service and I'm trying to figure out if this is a problem, or just an odd design. When you depress the sunroof open button and hold it for second to have it open all the way, is it supposed to open fully? Mine opens about 90% then stops. To get it to open to its full extension once it gets you have to press it again and hold it until it hits full extension. I'm thinking it's just misprogrammed, but was wondering if this was some goofy design or safety thing.
Thanks for any thoughts

So.... I just bought my dream car and it seems as if it's turning into a nightmare very quickly. I'll make the long, long story short.

No bluetooth, no power passenger seat, needed new rear shock in 2 days, rattle in air vent and no ipod interface.... lol it's little but important. Salesman told me it had it and it's my own fault for trusting him..

Had the car 2 weeks and it's been in the shop for almost a week..Ridicilous !

Here's my question(s)

1. Can you add the ipod interface ?

2. Does bluetooth come with the Nav if I add it ? Do you also need another part for the Navi or does the screen have the comp in it for DVD,Nav, ect ?

3. If I wanted to add an amp for a sub, does the High Level input really distort the subs ?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi gang,
Check this out.

(quote from the article)
General MotorsCadillac LogoCadillac is out to do better for itself, and that
covers everything -- cars, advertising, perception, -- and a new logo is part of
it, albeit a tiny modification from the old one. The last redesign introduced
the brand's "Art & Science" campaign in 1999, shedding Ye Olde Worlde elements
for a muted polish, to suggest " high technology and elegance."
The new logo adds gloss and texture: the wreath is harder, the crest gets
patterned elements in relief. It's more jewel-like as it also glances back at
yesteryear's ornate Cadillac emblems. It is undoubtedly a gem. What we don't
know is whether it's a new diamond ... or your grandmother's.
The old Cadillac logo is on the left and the new Cadillac logo is on the
right

My wife just received her "number Cadillacs owned badge". It comes with a large washer and threaded bolt. The instructions suggest that the washer be placed behind the front grill with the bolt used to tighten the badge to the front grill. Of course they don't tell you how to get the washer behind the grill which is inaccessible without removing panels. I doubt the average CTS owner will be attaching their badge after reading those directions.:cookoo:
Not a problem in my case as I do not like the look of the badge on the front grill anyway. It does look fine, however, should it be attached to the trunk above the CTS or AWD emblem. Here is my question. The badge is metal with a firm rubber backing that has the similar texture to flexible magnet material. What should I use to attach it to the trunk? Some type of double sided tape or an adhesive? It will need to be removed some day.

Guys and girls,

I'm beginning a search for a 2010 CTS to replace our Acura TL.

I like this CTS and the new SHO Taurus lots. The Caddy is just of a much higher (less Tupperware like) quality.

I believe that the FE3/ Y43 cars handle better but the dealer really is of no help. They don't understand why I'd do this "summer tire" option nor do they know what they package consists of. I feel as though I'm educating them and I don't like it.

My question is: if you order Y43 on a 3.6 rear drive Premium edition car, will I get the big iron calipers, 19 inch wheels and summer tires, different springs and steering?

Where can I find something that spells the package out for them to order should I do it, or search for the car. The web is doing me no good searching for "Y43". Are some dealers more aware?

Thanks in advance for the help,

Richard

I was just wondering how long I should expect my battery to last if I don't run my 09 cts.

The reason I ask is I was gone for a week on holidays and came back to a car whose battery was completely dead. Obviously there is a small draw on the battery when not running but I can't believe it would drain the battery in a week (could have been less time than that for all i know). Btw I have no aftermarket things plugged into it (radar, etc)

Anyone else have issues with battery life? What is normal?

I didn't leave any lights on but wouldn't the car shut them off if I did after a while? My chevy truck does.

GM had a test drive event here (Orlando) last weekend where they had new SRX's and a BMW M5, and the equivalent lexus and mercedes models as well. Those who were interested, and of course I was, got to drive all 4 vehicles. As a bonus, they had 1 new CTS wagon as well. I would like to know if this wagon is the same and the Holden wagon they are selling in Australia, because that is a good looking car, but this wagon was nice too. It felt really sporty to me, but was a little cramped for my right leg the way the console spread out into the dash, but I am an above-average sized guy. Likes: looked good, dash had rally gauges (not idiot lights), decent power for the V6, and the back seat/hatch area had an amazing amount or room. Dislikes: steering wheel felt off center a little bit, which, as I know form owning a previous car with offset, will really cause back pain on a long trip, and not having any plans as of yet for a V series model.

I would have to drive it some more to be sure about the wheel, but if I were to buy one of these, Cadillac will have to make a V-series AWD version with a 6-speed for me. We'll see if GM is listening or not.

If the V-series will not be made available on the wagon, I MAY still consider one IF they will make available to us lowly Americans the same engines the Europeans get, namely a turbo-diesel, just so I can be different. If I can't blow their doors off, I at least want to make them wonder what I've got under the hood. I'll have to try to find some more on it, but I really wish they would make these engines available to us here. I can't post a link to the article that mentions the diesel, but if you are interested it is on automedia.

So, aside from the big line-up changes for '10 (i.e. the addition of the wagon and the switch of the base engine to a 3.0L DI powerplant), it appears that we are regaining a park-tilt mirror (wasn't available on '09s built after October '08) and losing headlight washers (CE4 - now only available on the CTS-V) and rainsense wipers (not available on any model). Also, the limited slip differential has been deleted from the FE2 performance package for the sedan and RWD versions of the wagon and is now only available with the FE3 trim and with the FE2 AWD versions of the wagon. :cookoo:

Cabin filtration is also offered in one of the luxury packages - wasn't available previously.

IOW, by moving from my '09 to '10, I'm gaining a couple of features I sort of like in exchange for giving up 3 features that I really liked.

Can someone give me a bit of info on this, the expiration date on the recall is in a few days and 2 different dealers told me different answers to my questions regarding this. One dealer said they have to take apart the front dash and another said it is located in the back dash. the recall letter said some vehicals may have bad modules.

I was also told I would have to get a new car phone number after the module was changed and all my bluetooth phones would need to be reset. Sounds like a lot of problems to change something I am not having any problems with right now.

I'd hade to have a raddling dash after it's taken apart which happened on a different car of mine.

is there any way I can tell if my module is not working properly

To make a long story short (I'll try):
4 weeks ago I noticed a strange, pretty quiet, grinding noise from the engine area of my 2006 CTS, few hours later and there's a bang and the grinding noise is getting louder and louder.
Took the car to the nearest GM's garage, they told me to leave it for the rest of the day for inspection. After a week of inspection they discover that the engine is bust (something about the crankshaft). Pretty strange considering the car is not even 4 years old and done only 37,000 miles. So I picked up the phone and talked with the manager who told a new engine is requierd and that it will cost me 22,000$(!) because the car is out of warranty. I ofcourse disagreed to pay anything for the car and even refused to take it back!
Few days and phonecalls later we came to a decision together that everyones happy with. They took the car, and I bought a brand new, fully loaded, 3.6l DI rwd CTS, radiant with black interior, and payed only 68,000$ instad of it's full price which is 108,000$.
I'll get it next thursday! Cant wait driving it, just hope it last's over 4 years!!

p.s
Don't be shocked about the price, things are alot expensive here due to tax and all that stuff. :yup:

After about a month with my CTS, I'd pretty much written off the voice command features as little more than a toy. I occasionally use it to make calls and that's about it.

I'm trying to give it another chance. It looking over the voice command reference that was put out by a dedicated member last year, I noticed the "nearby POI" command and gave it a try. I think it could be useful if....

...When you call for "nearby xxxxx" it brings up a list by distance of POIs in that category. You can then command "Go #" and it will generate a route to the item number on the display. But, there are usually several pages of available options to scroll through. Yet, the scroll button disables itself while the car is in motion, so I'm stuck with the first six choices.

Is there a voice command to "page down"? Looking through the reference, I can't find a command that would scroll to the next page of listings.

Also, does anyone know of a list of all the POI categories available? I'd bet just the list of POI's available probably doubles the vocabulary of the system.
