I installed HID low beams and fogs from www.vvme.com. It was quite a hassle to get them here, but pretty simple to install. I think they turned out pretty well. I'm replacing my thermostat tommorow on my 2001. I bought a thermostat/housing from GMPartsDirect and 1 new bolt from a Saturn dealership. The thermostat housing has some type of gasket already on it...sort of looks like an O-ring. I also bought 2 O-rings for the coolant pipe.


1. Is there any other gasket I need? The Alldata doesn't indicate any type of gasket on the thermostat housing.

2. Do I need more than 1 modified bolt? For some reason I thought only 1 needed to be replaced.

3. Any other pointers?

I don't want to tear everything apart an be missing something.

Meanwhile here are some pictures of my new CTS, I had a Grille custom fabricated by Famous Autosports using the stock shell. The stock shell was first painted the color of the car, then the old mesh was cut out and new diamond cut mesh was put in its place, it looks awsome. See if you like it. The famous autosport website is still in construction but you can still view some things and contact them if you want one done. Ask for Mitch and tell him Simon sent you.
