I was searching everywhere to find ways of doing thins myself so far figured out the rest of the TPMS, and couldnt find anything for the deville so I tried what I read on ebay about using the old factory key then putting in the new cut key and it worked for me now I have my 2 new PK3 keys programmed, now the last obstacle is programming the 2 1/2 remotes I bought online anyway to program these yourself without the tech II tool at the dealer?

Only reason I am trying to avoid is to pay the 30min/$45 charge my local GM dealer charges for a 2min job, already did it once with the new radio...any help would be greatly appreciated

I am still trying to get some good photos, but wanted to at least show off a little. I installed HID low beams and fogs from www.vvme.com. It was quite a hassle to get them here, but pretty simple to install. I think they turned out pretty well. I am still learning how to get some better night shots. Both are 6000k.:D

I tried searching for this but couldn't find much on this board.

I'm replacing my thermostat tommorow on my 2001. I bought a thermostat/housing from GMPartsDirect and 1 new bolt from a Saturn dealership. The thermostat housing has some type of gasket already on it...sort of looks like an O-ring. I also bought 2 O-rings for the coolant pipe.

1. Is there any other gasket I need? The Alldata doesn't indicate any type of gasket on the thermostat housing.

2. Do I need more than 1 modified bolt? For some reason I thought only 1 needed to be replaced.

3. Any other pointers?

I don't want to tear everything apart an be missing something.

Thanks

If anyone has had any custom work done on their new Cadillac CTS, post the pictures here. Meanwhile here are some pictures of my new CTS, I had a Grille custom fabricated by Famous Autosports using the stock shell. The stock shell was first painted the color of the car, then the old mesh was cut out and new diamond cut mesh was put in its place, it looks awsome. See if you like it. The famous autosport website is still in construction but you can still view some things and contact them if you want one done. Ask for Mitch and tell him Simon sent you.

7:59!!!

Info to be released next week hopefully with video.

Also asked the two 09 V drivers if the new V was faster than the Z06 in the quarter mile and I got dual "no's" in stereo. Said it was just physics!
