Question Programming Keyless Remote 2003 Deville

I have a 2003 Deville. I have conflicting information...Is it true that the dealer has to program a new remote or can you do it yourself through the DIC?

It requires the use of the Tech 2.
Strangely, '06 and up DTS you can do through the DIC.

Hopefully, your dealer will be nice enough and do it for you for free.

Is it still under warranty? If so, I think they'll do it for free for sure.
