Steering Position Sensor Replacement
This is my first post, so let me start off with saying hello to everyone! I really enjoy this forum... By far the best resource I have found for information on my 2001 Seville SLS. (Or any model caddy for that matter!)
Down to business now...
I have been getting a error of "Steering Wheel Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction". I have checked the connection to the sensor, which seems good... But I wanted to know if anyone has any good tips for diagnosing this sensor, as the datasheet for it seems to show it being very reliable. (i.e. Life Cycle = 1 million cycles with temp. varying from -40 to 85 degrees centigrade). Could the sensor possibly have been damaged by all my parking lot doughnuts and sliding around?!?!?
Other than that, can anyone point me towards, or write me, a good guide on replacing the sensor?
