2001 Sevile STS Twilight Sentinel Malfunction

I have searched the forums. In my case, the Driver Information Contraption displays "headlights suggested" when I turn the Twilight Sentinel slider off.

So, where is the sensor (on the left dash, just to the left of the A/C load sensor?) and what are the chances that it has a loose connection, just like my sub woofer did

If you turn off the twilight sentinel, it displays the "Headlamps Suggested". I will assume that with the TS on, you do not have this message, and the healights are indeed on? Check to make sure that your Rain Sense wipers are not activated. Put the wiper switch to off, and see if it still occurs.

Thanks, but I discovered that the sensor was a tad dirty. A brief cleaning with a Q-Tip and some Windex and viola; no more "headlights suggested" in the bright Las Vegas daylight.
