    Anti-theft issues

I have a 1998 DeVille. Every time I try to start my car the anti-theft warning appears and says car may not restart. It sometimes starts right up and sometimes it says starting disabled wait 3 minutes. I've tried changing out the key so far. I don't have even an idea as to what it could be. If anybody can please help me out. Thanks

If you have already tried different key the lock cylinder contacts that read the key are worn and either cylinder needs replacing or you can bypass the pellet setup. Do a search for Bypass Vats.
