    2002 seville not blowing air

Hey this is my very 1st post.thanks to u all im hopeful my blower will b running in no time. So I just bought 02seville sls, drove it for a day and this morning after starting it up, I quickly raised the blower speedfrom 2 to the max of 5 notches on the center console, then quickly hit windshield defrost button and rear defroster at same time. The blower was picking up speed as I pressed the to defroster buttons and turned off after I pressed them.it has not turned on after that.so imtrying to figure out whats wrong. With a test light there is power up to the blower motor and the ground pin coming out grounds nice to the frame. The electrical connector going into the blower control processor and out into the blower have power. However both are not providing ground. My Q is where does this 3 pin connector ground itself on the vehicle? I smacked the blower wiggled connectors and checked fuses Its about 17 degrees outside. Check engine light is on , it says check gas cap on cluster and had minor front end damage, iassume thats the reason for air bag light to b on. Other than that yesterday when I drove it, iwas in love. Perfect everything its just gettin colder so I would appreciate any advice thanks

The ground for the blower motor is behind the passengers side kick panel trim. Open the passengers side door, and pull the trim straight up to remove it. If the clips stay in the rocker panel, just turn them 90 degrees, and they'll pull out.

My driver seat when getting out goes back and makes a dragging seat noise that u can also feel. Might the sliders need grease or something? I don't have a manual. I can try oil?
