'84 deville bad PCM???

I just bought a mint 84 deville vinyl top 4 door pale yellow w/almost white interior. Almost like new it has 92k on the clock...
I am new to caddies so sorry if this question has been asked..

some of the sensors were replaced do to the owner spraying the car with water. I have the documents from the dealer, they say the ect, act and iac sensors and harnesses were replaced.. they found that the map sensor circuit has resistance they found it had a code of 32 and 36 and they also said the PCM was bad (power control module?)

My question,
How does the car run good and need that? The service engine soon light is on.. But it has ran fine for me besides a little lag when I give it some gas. Does this sound correct the pcm is $187 plus and install fee of $82 is it an easy fix for the DIY'er?

Don't rush to change the PCM.
At first check the codes.
I think your PCM is fine.
And anyway you can find PCM much cheaper. I found mine (for 94' STS) on line just for $50 + $15 shipping. It can be replaced very easy, but you SHOULD KNOW how to do it right.
But again, don't rush to change it.
