Drivers side low beam headlight not working right.

On my '84 DeVille the other day when I was going to work I went to turn on my headlights and noticed that only the passenger side on came on. But when I turn on my high beams then the low beam will come on. What could make this happen?

replace the bulb. with that car your lowbeam is burned out but high beams will still function i believe that those are not halogen and a light bulb its self. replace the light it is fairly inexpensive...

Yep it was just the low beam out. Changed it today and now I'm back in business!
