    QuestionPCM Sensor?

The idiot light popped up on my car. I took it to Autozone (as they have the OBD II reader and I don't want to buy one) and it popped up 4 codes, all codes were related to the PCM sensor for the crankshaft. Has anyone replaced this before. Looks like an easy $40 fix if I do it myself. Any suggetions/recommendations/warnings? I only have 34K on it so this is a huge relief compared to what the other issues could have been. I did a search here on PCM and got nothing. Thanks!

Crank position sensors, do some searching and you will find hundreds of how to and why topics.
    They fail often.
    You need two.
    An A and a B.

    Re: PCM Sensor?

GOt a lot of great info. The car is 5 months out of warranty. I talked to the dealer, they are going to give me a huge break on labor. I would do it myself but it is still winter up here in the north!

No need to buy one; you already own one. Cadillac built it in for you and the instructions used to be on this forum but I can't find them.
