Broken weld.....

Hey, I bought this system directly from you guys about 3 years ago. I noticed the last few weeks that it's been banging around under my car, so I bought some new exhaust hangers hoping to fix it. When I got under the car, I discovered that the hanger mount for the right muffle had broken off, but not at the weld, it took a chunk of the pipe with it. Below I have provided a picture.

Now my question is, it this something that should have happened to a $1000 exhaust system after 3 years? Especially one made of stainless steal? I'm considering purchasing a new STS for which I would get your system again, but I don't want to have to worry about welds breaking off chunks of piping.

Is there anyway way I can get this fixed? I don't want to get it re-welded if I don't have to, I'd rather have this taken care of by you guys who built it.

Re: Broken weld.....

Please call our Customer Service department at 800-486-0999 and ask for Paul Santiago (ext 135). He will ask you for some simple info and get the warranty replacement process started. Our products have a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner and we will replace the part free of charge.

The cause of the failure will be determined once we have the faulty part in-house at Corsa. As you mentioned, these kits are made of 304SS and the nature of your failure is more fatigue related, not corrosion.

Thanks for your business and we look forward to promptly addressing your concerns.
Regards,
