    The LS1 is actually shorter, lower, and about 50 lbs lighter than the BMW inline 6 if I recall correctly. This is a popular swap into e30's too.

    I gotta say, that engine looks perfect in there.. Fits like a glove and from afar, almost looks like an "M Power" engine.

    My tuner buddy has a 2000 740iL with a twin turbo 408 (LS1 iron) in it...puts out about 800HP at the tires. slick....
